What there is and what there is not

There is NO air conditioned in the apartments. The island is enough windy to stay fresh without using electric devices.

In every apartment there is a fan on the roof and one or two big windows/doors in front of the private garden or the private terrace.

There is NEITHER animation as in touristic villages nor baby parking.

There is kindness and our availability to help you in organizing dinners together with other guests: barbecue, tennis table playing, a glass of wine and a lot of chats.

There is NO TV-Sat in each apartment.
But... are you sure it is really important?

There is a meeting room with TV-Sat, magazines, books, games... Guests meet each other in this room to see sports, news and kid's cartoons. This is another way to know people and it is the most important area according to our idea of cohousing.

There are NO restaurants, bar or self services inside the Villa.

There are excellent bars and restaurants on the beach at 100 meters from Villa Europa or we can give you informations about restaurants where our guests have discounts

We have NO convention with ferry companies (unfortunatelly we too pay full ticket!).

If you book an apartment by Villa Europa, you will receive a PERSONAL CODE to buy the ship's ticket Moby/Toremar with discount of 20%. We can give you all the infos you need to buy your tickets on internet or by phone or, if necessary, we can call the ship companies for you. If you give us the following infos (car model, number of persons, time of departures), we can tell you how much does it costs.

There are NOT a new villa or new furnitures.

Every year Villa Europa is modernized, and improved keeping some of its original furnitures.

There are NO dishwasher, dryer, safe-depositbox, daily cleaning...

There is a washing machine, a laundry ironing room and Mrs Rossana, she is always available to help you.

There is NO journal shop.

If you want to read your journal, you can ask us or you can reserve it in the neighborhood

There is NO beach like Rimini, there is no noise, there are no discotheques, shops or pubs on the beach.

There is a wonderful beach, where you can stay with your umbrella or you can rent one.
It is full of nature, wonderful sea; you can snorkeling, diving and fishing...
Some restaurants and bars are open also in the evening, Live music events, baby dancing and latino dancing at Mandel.
Capoliveri is 2 km far from Morcone and there you can find lovely little shops, pubs, live music, discotheque. A lot of places to visit and to have fun also by night (Portoazzurro, Portoferraio, Marina di Campo...)

There is NO big shopping center.

There are two supermarkets in Capoliveri (2 km from Morcone) and a minimarket 100 m far from Villa Europa.

There is NO reception.

We welcome our guests when they arrive. Usually from 3.00 pm on the arrival day and the departure is at 10.00 am of the departure day. We stay at your disposal for different demands.

There is NO SPA, massages...

There is a place to catch sun (our solarium), 3.600 sqm of garden to relax and there are Thermal Place in San Giovanni in Portoferraio.

There is NO swimmig pool or Aquapark...

150 m far from us there is the beach and the Natural Park. Villa Europa has a 3.600 sqm garden with tennis table, playground for children and a lot of games for children.

There is NO dogsitter or petsitter.

There is an apartment (S) where guests with big dogs and pets will stay comfortable. Guests with little dogs and little pets can ask us for smaller apartments. It is very important you don’t leave dogs alone in the apartment during the day and you put a leash at your dog when you are in common areas.

There is NO welcome cocktail.

We smile at persons who smile and we, as our guests, want to make friendship.

There is NO computer for guests.

There is free internet wireless with your PC, password will be given at your arrival.

There are NO doctors near us

In Capoliveri (2 km from Villa Europa) there are doctors, a pharmacy (open till 11.00 pm), at your disposal mobile phone of some doctors and pediatricians, first aid service at 2 km.

There are NOT easy flat streets, there are not cycle paths, you have to know how to do trekking or use mountain bike.

Villa Europa is on a little hill, when you came back from the beach there is a little climb (about 20 m). you can walk in the garden under the shadow of plants and you can also to have a shower in the garden to refresh yourself.

There is NOT a bus stop near Villa Europa.

Bus stop is at about 500 m with a climb street.

There are NOT free taxis

At your disposal mobile phones of taxi services in Capoliveri.

There are not apartments completely equipped for disabled.

There is apartment E with a mobile ramp, sliding doors 90 cm, bathroom without barriers, bidet with little shower, lifted toilet.

There are NO prohibitions to invite friends to have lunch or dinner, parties or to stay together.

The only rule is that guests have to respect spaces and tranquillity of other guests and neighbors, to leave all common areas (and everything you used) clean.

Linen and towels are NOT included, but are provided ONLY on request, by paying € 10 each person / each supply.

We provide blankets, dry kitchen, sponges.

IMPORTANT: credit cards are not accepted!!!

You can pay by cash, with cheque or bank transfer.
